Tom Harvey brings a wealth of experience and training to his work, including advanced degrees from the University of Maine in counseling (M.Ed. and C.A.S.) and educational leadership (Ed.D.)

He is certified by the National Board for Certified Counselors, a member of the American Counseling Association, the International Positive Psychology Association, and the Association of Career Professionals.

He brings over thirty years of experience as a professional educator -- teacher, counselor, school leader -- in public and private education, and he is the Past President of the Maine School Counselor Association and the Eastern Maine Association for Counseling and Development.

He has been a consultant and trainer with Maine's Department of Education, and is a certified trainer with the National Institute for School Leadership. He has also consulted with SchoolWorks, leading school quality review teams, and has worked as a facilitator in leadership and communications training with corporate leaders through Outward Bound Professional.

He has taught, or is currently teaching, college and graduate-level courses in leadership theory, educational psychology and internship supervision at Endicott College, Salem State College, and Lesley University. And he is the sole proprietor of his own leader development / lifework guidance business.

Tom is a husband, father of four, treasurer of the Rotary Club of Marblehead Harbor, and is an avid golfer, skier, fisherman, and gardener.
