By combining current research about healthy adult development and effective self leadership with proven methods of teaching and learning, the Emerging Leader Institute has helped aspiring young leaders to build the skills, confidence, and determination they need to embark on the journey to personal and professional fulfillment.

Emerging Leader Institute Objectives:

  • To identify and define personal styles, attributes, skills, values, interests, and beliefs in order to construct their Lifework Leader Brand
  • To become fully aware of beliefs that may be self-limiting and develop strategies to override them with a stronger sense of self-efficacy.
  • To create, implement, and monitor a Lifework Leadership Plan.
  • To develop skills in self and social awareness, and self and social management.
  • To engage in skillful communication using active listening and empathy, and to give and receive feedback.
  • To foster and support the development and growth of others.
