Leadership Team Development
Management and leadership teams in the business and non-profit sectors are the primary targets of our leadership team development work. However, our services are designed to benefit any group of people who function as a team - who are unified in their commitment to work together to achieve a set of common goals. Examples might include executive boards, trustees, service clubs, and educational or religious groups.
Although Dr. Harvey addresses individual leader development in the course of developing professionally vital teams, his primary focus is on uncovering the strengths and challenges that define the uniqueness of each individual team. The Leadership Team Vitality Scale is the primary data collection tool we use in our work with leadership teams.
The leadership team grows by analyzing and reflecting upon the data and identifying team priorities, team goals and team actions. Dr. Harvey supports this process with team-building initiatives and dialogue.
The desired outcome is to build the capacity of team members to work together and become effective leaders and effective members of high-functioning, professionally vital teams. This, in turn, increases individual, team, and organizational success.
